Twisted Mind III

This game was run by Pat Loney (Overlord).

After only about 3 1/2 weeks, Twisted Mind III is over and history. Escher declared himself the sole winner in the game though he had some ties to several of the other high ranking players. His final jump on LV426, who was #3 at the time was the event that put him over the top. Anyway, it's nice to see a solo win declaration these days.

Some background on the setup of the game. We had 37 people sign up for the game and 32 of them broke. This was a flatland game, which means there were no sea sectors. GO-RENEW was enabled in the game as well as the disable command. The next game won't have that. Large countries like Lie, Amber, and ^^^ disolved with sizes of over 100 sectors. That creates kind of a vacuum. Also in the game, education was 5 times more resource intensive and tech was eacy .25, log 2.55. there was no tech decay and I started the game with everybody at 200. the end result is that only Arrakis made any technology and he ended up at 216. Another couple of months and we would have seen nukes. Way to go guys!
