beep - the tiny little nation of happy, industrious people

"the peaceful citizens of beep are guided by their citizen leader, a.k.a. known as the first citizen. the beep nation has never _ever_ initiated hostilities with another country, even though some might dispute this. the citizen leader has pledged to never be the first to use nukes in a game, although there has been insufficient evidence to fundamentally prove this point. these peaceful, enlightened policies have lead the beep people to victory in Riverworld I (with a rather spectacular nuking of Finland, if the citizen leader may say so himself, which he does), and as a multi-country coalition 'win' in one of the Euro Empire games (although that one required a (also rather spectacular) backstab to break the impasse and finally end the game). unfortunately, these same peaceful policies lead to more 'also-ran' results as more vicious war-mongering dictators tend to take advantage of the bucolic citizens' complacency."
